seem to be havin' problems w/a 1400w max 4 channel produced by crunch.

protection keeps activating, after 2 months of problem free use,by circumstances yet unknown.all of the connections are correct and problem free,i need to know where to start troubleshooting because i don't have the time or the patience to start tearing everything apart just to find myself busting the next jerk-off who criticizes me upside the head //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif the speaker is a kicker comp 12''and it is not blown as far as a multimeter is concerned.it dosn't go into protection until i raise the volume.this is a recurring problem every time i turn on the ignition.please help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

disconnect the speaker wires from the amp

test resistance across each channel of subs or however you have it wired

make sure this number is OK for your amp to push

check back after you have done that

because it's crunch.....low resistance would be my guess.......save your pennies, buy a new amp.......i know it makes you mad...but sometimes you gotta face the facts....time for an upgrade....
