Treo TSX 12 or Diamond D6??

I'm trying to decide since I can get either for the same price. This is going into the back of an Altima sedan.

I'm using a 1.2cf sealed box I built, running off a USAcoustics 300x1 (12.9v) though I have a Profile CA800 (500-600x1 @4ohms) I can throw in to get more out of the sub...

Since I have no experience w/either, I need some feedback if possible.

Which would be more efficient w/either amount of power?

I like SQ and SPL but this is just a daily driver. I prefer something w/good extension up to 80hz (RE comps up front) w/tight, controlled bass.

I'm guessing either would do fine, but are there any specific reasons to go w/one or the other?

Not looking to impress traffic or compete obviously.

I've used the D6 before. It had pretty good output for a single sub and I liked the SQ. Didn't get extremely low, but that's the only problem that I had with it. It will be good off that power. They also run good ported. I have not heard the Treo, so I can't comment on that.

both woofers want more power than you have to offer. i ran a single tsx 10" ported with 1100 watts.

I have listened to both a lot and imo the diamonds sound more accurate, BUT all of the tsx setups I have heard have been more for spl. Both subs are good quality subs and props on getting them for that price. just my 2c, mw

listen to a few more setups. the best sounding bass i have ever heard was with three tsx 10"s sealed and a zapco 9.0.

TSX are DEFINETLY NOT spl subs. they are FAR from it. they have got to be one of the best SQ subs i think.
