treo ssx----- how good r they

thinking about purchasing a ssx 15 fresh recone from a guy for 475 shipped, is this a good price for this sub. i recently owned a piar of re sx 12s and didnt car for what i metered with them, im looking to get closer to 150's, will or can this sub do it in a trunk. i will be powering it with a vfl 150.1

how big of a box and port should i give this sub, the website doesnt give very much on it

Im putting mine in a 11 to 12 cube box tuned in the lower mid 30's. You could prolly go much smaller than that but I just want them to be retardedly loud. So i figure anywhere from 4 - 6 cubes each shoud be fine.

yea i thinking much smaller than that, its going in a 05 accord, 3.5- 4 maybe tuned to maybe 35, but i have to figure out how big of a port and the length of the port. wold u think this sub would be louder than the re sx's

Never did an install with the re SX's, only XXX's and at the same power they are pretty even except the Treo's begin to fall off slightly before and after the tuning freq when the XXX kept going... however that could have been their bad in the tuning so it's hard to say. However the SSX's should beable to take much more power so that may make up for some things.
