i'd say port the box and tune low.

just don't expect the SSi's in the same box off the same power to be a considerable amount louder. pretty sure the tc-1000's are more efficient so they will be louder off the same power.

porting the box will be difficult (1st I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to that...2nd it's a custom MDF/Fiberglass box form fitted under the seat of my Silverado).

Okay...off to go see Symphony X, Into Eternity & Epica now

Epica impressed the hell out of me...listened to their cd's a few times...they pull it off "live" much better...much more powerful than you'd think.
