first off the subs that came from treo say "dual 1 ohm" and i put the dmm on them as soon as i got them and they read 1.9-2 ohm so i was like ughhhhh ok maybe a mistake at treo lol so i was like ok i have dual 2 ohms so i parallel each woofer as its own not to each other dropping to 1 ohm so i use my dmm on the bolt terminals and it read 1.5 ohms n im like wtf lol it made no sense no its wasnt at .5 if it was .5 they would have been fried after a few seconds haha

what kinda dmm are you using. I know i bought a 20$ one, and it reads resistance between its probes of 0.5 ohm... so if thats the case and the coils were really 1ohm or even 1.3 (something closer to 1 ohm) lol that 1k rms woofer took the power like a champ!!!

I want to say noob, but I don't know you or how long you've been doing this, but I had a SSi10.44 powered by a modded PG ZPA0.3 producing ~900 wrms. Took all of it like a champ. I also have 2 SSi12.22's currently and am beside myself for trading them in the next few days. The sub I will be getting, I've wanted for a few years now and found one NIB, so I'm trading my 2 SSi's for what I owe the guy plus the NIB sub. I wouldn't hesitate to give my SSi12.22's 2k total. But then again, I know how to set things up properly, dd1 or not.
