So what I am getting is that you knew you were overpowering the subs and they blew thus its Treo's fault???? I also get very mad when I send 3k to a single skar and they fail god skar is just junk.....

I can read and I can see look at those coils I dnt care if god himself set ur gains you burnt those coils to death. Simple as that..
Oh and as far as the single spider I dnt see a spider issue nor did u mention one.. So I would say that single spider setup is more then fine you issue is burning coils to death.

i kno brooooooo from most likely over powering some of the coils were all ready burnt i believe each sub had one good coil yesterday and on one of the subs both coils went to suger cooker :] lol tomorrow im gonna finish the last coil off idk if im gonna use the 4500 or the stetsom 7k2d

lol i never said it was treos faulti just said ftl never really said its their fault my woofers blew whats awesome is their recones cost $150 and u have to send it.so $150 for the recone and $100 in shipping both ways its cheaper for me to get a new one. i still till this day dont understand why they dont sell recone kits

Cause not all know how to recone and thus people would blow them left and right and call foul on treo... Sounds logical to me..

no i would have done the ssx but the best price i could get on those was $350 a piece and for not much more im getting the v2s so its pointless for me to stay with 12s

Im still trying to figure out how you wired two dual 2 subs to 1.5 and ended up with a 2 ohm load after box rise. Maybe im just bad with this wiring thing, but wouldn`t you have been wired to 2, which means with box rise it could be even higher...or you wired in parallel to .5 and had way too much power

first off the subs that came from treo say "dual 1 ohm" and i put the dmm on them as soon as i got them and they read 1.9-2 ohm so i was like ughhhhh ok maybe a mistake at treo lol so i was like ok i have dual 2 ohms so i parallel each woofer as its own not to each other dropping to 1 ohm so i use my dmm on the bolt terminals and it read 1.5 ohms n im like wtf lol it made no sense no its wasnt at .5 if it was .5 they would have been fried after a few seconds haha
