I haven't played with much treo .. but I was interested in their amps so I gave them a call a while back. They were really helpful and had a lot of knowledge. Their prices are kind of steep but it is a quality product from what I've seen. Their amps appear to me to be really overbuilt (check out ampguts)

Only thing that turned me off if all their stuff is rated 4 ohm for USACI, so I wasn't clear on 1 and 2 ohm output... or if they were .5 ohm stable

I have owned 3 of their amps, amazing little powerhouses, I did a comparison of my Sundown 3Kd Vs. my Treo SSX-1500 and the Treo was .2db louder on music (audio control meter, not termlab)

cool thanks. was the amp 2, 1 ohm stable? the net says 4 ohm ratings for all there stuff

I believe Treo makes some of the best gear you can buy. I haven't used any (can't afford it), but there was a local demo vehicle that did. An Excursion with 6 15"s, 3 big amps, the highs and highs amp. I don't know exactly what it was, but it was close to the top. That bass was unbelievable. It blurred my vision standing outside of it.
