just wondering what the thoughts on are subwoofer? I'm planning on buying one to put in an escalade with an Orion 2500d amplifier. I was playing with 1 cerwin vega stroker pro 15" but I think there is something wrong with it, dunno. I had 2 and put one in an enclosure and after a few hours of play time the stupid thing started smoking and sounding like crap and when I took it out , there was nothing but smoke. the cone doesn't move now. I thought maybe it was bad but the same thign with the other one. I don't know if its the subwoofers or the amplifier but the amplifier was playing fine in the install beforewith 3 kicker l7 15" subwoofers. okay back to the point I'm looking at the treo csx 18" subwoofer what are your thoughts for sound quality and spl? does it sound good? does it get loud? thank you all thought are appreciated.

from what ive heard (and ive asked alot of people ) dont exspect sound quality what so ever its a competion woofer strictly . i did alot of research on it and its not what your looking for . look towards the ssx series

the csx gets **** loud and yes it will sound fine i know a buddy had 3 of the 15s in an s10 and it sounds great
