TREO 15 csx

could anyone give me a review of this subwoofer. Good, bad, real world power ratings. one of my friends gave me one as payment its a quad 1.8 ohm sub really beefy looking speaker. would this compare even close to an MT.

I jut got my MT in, it will be reconed to a 15 soon. I will get some numbers of the differences. My csx has a recone from FI but it sounds just like it did when it was Treo parts. So it should be a close comparison

how much power were you giving the csx daily. compared to the mt daily

i had the csx on 2500wrms (orion 2500d) that is what I will have them both on when i get them metered. The csx really needs 2000wrms+ if you want it loud. Ive heard MTs before and I would say they compare close. I will know better once i get numbers for you though.

I dont understand why treo would underrate them that much though because the website says 1200 rms for the csx. and thats suposed to be their SPL based sub.

i couldnt tell you but ive heard of people throwing 5kwrs at them in comps and they take them like champs.
