Certainly the worst I've ever done visually, but it sure sounds sweet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For the record, the inside is well done; MDF rings, TimeAlignment, Fully active. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Never got pictures... but the WORST install I ever had to deal with, was back in 1984... a guy in an '83 ***** Am, with three Pioneer amps, and a bunch of other BS.

Brought it in to us, to find out why things kept "cutting off"... to demonstrate, he cranked it up in the driveway of the store, and sure enough... amp hiccups, pops, cracks. Then, smoke started coming out from under the seat... and we made him turn it off...

Got it in the bay... started checking around. Looked in the rear hatch... there were a whole bunch of black wires, all stripped, wrapped around this HUGE bolt (looked like a lugbolt and lugnut, and some washers)and clamped together... just laying on the floor, on the carpet. Called the guy over... asked him what was the deal with the bolt?

His reply: "Well, the manual for the amp said to ground the amp to a bolt... so I grounded them to a bolt!"

At that point, we told him we couldn't help him, and sent him away...

Regards,

Gordon.

I know funny, and that shit's funny.

Knew a guy in HS that used one half of a set of jumper cables for his power wire including using the clamp as his battery terminal.

we had a guy come into the shop the other day wondering why his subs weren't playin to we looked at it and he didn't have the rca's or remote hooked up but to top that, he had 12 gague speaker wire for his power wire, both sides run in parallel, throught the drives door with no fuse. for a ground wire he had home electrical wire. wish i could of gotton some pics for all of you but i just found this thread.

I missed that... what did they ban him for?
they banned him for making to many boxes...he was caught sniffing particle board dust

and licking resin and trying to fit his head into a homemade 8inch flared port while holding a type r basket on his pinky and using a type r cone that he painted blue as a ear ring

and he kept telling peopl that his boxes are work 300+ dollars...when he actually paid no more than 70 bucks out of pocket to make these thing

80

last time i checked particle board is cheaper than mdf
