i can get a mechman for 399 for a 270a alt just wanna see what other trailblazer owners are using

depends on the build really

i have a customers outside that is only using a 160 for 3kw and its doing fine with dual 4 guage runs and big 3 in 1/0 with an hc600 at the sub amp

my set up will consist off 2 mm4000.1 hopefully i already got 2 runs of 0/1 ad a 2 shuriken bt80s in the back

id say dual alts those mm4000's will pull 3-400 amps of current each

That 270 H/O alt will do fine. You'll need a good battery bank to power those 4k's. I've heard that they're power hungry amps...

you wont need dual alts, you will if you only stick with 2 batts tho.

800 amps of draw from the amps -270 for the alt leaves 530+ for the batts to make up so 6 x 80 is 480 it would be enough since he wont be full tilt all the time.

Good point.

Although you still can't go wrong with dual alts...just costs more.
