It's called Stop Line violation. it's the same ticket you get for rolling a stop sign or running a red light. I'd fight that ticket if it was me. i mean you gotta pay court costs anyways might as well go and plead your case. Not to mention at least in kansas if you go to court and the cop doesn't show up (happens 6 out of 10 times) the ticket is thrown out on the spot.

He didn't ask for your insurance which means he didn't do his job.................in turn means if the judge finds that out (wink wink) he's gunna be very upset with the officer and that may get you off.

Yeah i think its like that in california 2. where if the cop doesnt show up its thrown out. I sure hopw he doesnt show up. And it was weird that he didnt ask me for it because all the other times thats the first thing they ask for. Well one of the first to things they ask for. For all he knows i could of been driving without insurance.(but i am insured he don't no that.)
