I dont know tats that well, but those I see on others always look faded. Are there different quality inks, or do you have to keep them oiled up to keep em bright??
if your artist has any idea what he is doing he will know how to mix his inks right and the color will usually stay pretty bright, it all comes down to how you take care of it though, people use the wrong lotion and stuff. the best stuff to use is lubriderm, the non scented kind (blue label) most people will say vasoline but they are wrong, vasoline sucks color out. most of the tattoos you see that are faded are most likely on older guys that got the tattoos fairly long ago and didnt know how to keep care of it. I get tattooed at luckys tattoo parlor, half of them also work at miami ink, they know their shit. I pay big money but it is worth it because my work looks good, you get what you pay for.

I've had my tat for 3 years. It hasn't faded, I never put lotion or anything on it even when new. it still looks dark as when it was new.

It depends greatly on your skin too, different skins get different results with different types of inks and different depths of the needle.

i like my tribal dragon. didnt know what i wanted , but i wanted one. so i got it.

i just hate that i got it for free and now that i moved to NC , i will have to pay if i want another. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

This is my sleeve (in progress), the butterfly and the girl are still healing so they look kinda of shitty, i also just got the sparrow and hearts touched up so they are scabby also. but the main piece with the hands i have had for about a year, it says "true until death"
