That sucks. I thought it was because you do not want to file a claim since it was not too bad and a chance insurance could rise.

It shouldn't matter whether you have info or not, at least with me it didn't. I've got AAA and I told them my car got hit in a parking lot and they paid for it no questions asked. No deductible or rate increase or anything.
