I was driving down the road and it broke. it was an old sunfire so it didn't surprise me, the car was half shaken to pieces from the stereo anyway. if thats not enough to blow out a window, I have no idea what else it could have been

they're I think 03 or 04. I only used for about 4 months. they blew out my back window so I took them out so they didn't get stolen and never put them back in. I don't know what voice coil impedence even is

what amp were you running when you blew your rear window.

I had 2 of the newer L7's in a large ported box and was never able to get that loud.

I was only running 2 JL Audio 500/1's though.

blew out the back window..... you could probably take Terry Brocks.... i mean his honda only does a 56+ on the dash and his windows have shattered yet.....

I don't know but I've blown like 5 back windows and 2 windshields in my Caprice with my CVXs in a sealed box... I don't think he's lying...

lol i love theses threads. my 18 is 6 inches from my back hatch and it hasnt blown yet. the hatches is annoying making alot of noise and moving like 2 inches but never blown

Wow does anybody fucking read anymore?. He did say it may have been cracked and if it was its totally feasible for it to happen.....especially since the rear window doesnt have the **** in between the layers like the windshield....
