they're I think 03 or 04. I only used for about 4 months. they blew out my back window so I took them out so they didn't get stolen and never put them back in. I don't know what voice coil impedence even is

You do realize it takes way louder sound to shatter a window than your average car system can produce. You won't come anywhere close to shattering any windows.

You don't need to try and talk up your system, most people here know what L7s are and know what they're not capable of.

I'm not trying to talk up my system. I merely stated the reason I took these out of my car in the first place, to let people know they're not broken or anything. my window DID shatter while my system was on, what other reason could it possibly have been?

'04's... new L7's are released on even years, new L5's (were) released on the odd years...

As for breaking your window out.... seriously? You mean 'somebody' busted your window out... not the stereo...
