iverson a ball hog..hmmmmmmm at least a finals appearance(just conference right? can't remember..oh well)

seems to be that ballin is a TEAM sport and the players w/ the TEAM win the titles...

i agree answer and t-mac are their respective teams offenses...but that's what is wrong with both of those teams....

kobe only hogs when shaq is hurt..btw shag wants the rock more then anyone and if one person who CAN'T beat ya..it's shaq..man he sucks.....a lot of smaller players dominate the overall game a lot more then he does and he gets called one of the 50 greatest..yeah ok...w/out kobe/fox/and the numbnuts who makes...horry..he's nothing.....that's the concept behind team..it took kobe, shaq, horry, fox and all the bench to win the three-peat..not just one...

shit, i'm rambling......

ask any basketball analyst why the lakers are losing. the answers are all the same, kobe is shooting too much down the stretch, and trying to take too much into his own hands, and shaq is not shooting enough in the second half. the lakers without kobe are a better team that a laker team without shaq. period. kobe is not the most dominant player in the league, shaq is. albeit he isnt the most athletic, there is no doubt that he is the most dominant, when you can dominate the paint the way shaq does, you dont need a kobe bryant or a tmac on ur team to win titles, u just need decent role players. shaq can win a title without kobe, kobe cant win one without shaq, its that simple.

theres no doubt that shaq can win without kobe, and when he was in orlando, he was a completely different player, and he didnt have hill back then, when he was on orlando, hill was on detroit. the three point shooter ur talking about, nick anderson? or dennis scott? either way, i totally agree that he throws flagrant elbows, and i could care less if u flame on shaq, i hate the darn guy too, and i'm glad ming is gonna start over shaq, cuz i'm chinese, so what's ur point? when it all comes down to it, shaq is the guy u want to build a dynasty around, not kobe. shaq may not be able to do it now coming off toe surgery and all, theres no question that he lost a step, and i'm glad he did, cuz i'm sick and tired of seeing those stupid laker flags everywhere, being i'm from LA and i hate the lakers with a passion.

Shaq was a little smaller when he was on the Magic, and you gotta remember when he was on the Magic there were still many good centers in the league- Mourning was in his prime, so was Ewing, and can't forget about The Dream. I think if you take either Kobe OR Shaq outta the equation they won't win a title. Each player gets about 25 ppg, give or take a few. Now without Shaq, the Lakers have absolutely no inside presence. Without Kobe, they have no slasher that can get to the hole and get to the line. Who's gonna score from the perimeter w/o Kobe? Horry? Fox? They would never get more than 13 ppg if they were the main outside threat. But I also feel that the Lakers would do a lot better w/o Kobe then if they were w/o Shaq

The reason the lakers **** this year isnt just Kobe/Shaq. Fox, Horry, and Fisher have no heart in them and arent scoring points when they need to, they have become non-existent. Kobe and Shaq try to make up for it, but the defense knows that sicne the role players arent doing in anything, the balls going to Shaq or Kobe = double them up = lakers ****. Plus as a whole they just have no passion in them. The burning desire they had in themselves to win last year is now gone. And in addition to that, the Lakers bench is HORRIBLE. Mark Madsen, Samaki Walker, Stanisalv Medvendenevok or however you spell it, Jannero Pargo, Tracy Murray its terrible. They need some infusion of new talent, they have become stagnant while the rest of the leageu is progressing.

And T-Mac really isnt THAT much of a ball-hog, he doesnt take too many ill-advised shots, but he is a very self centered player. After he score hes lazy getting back on D resulting in fast break points, he cant keep up with people screening him, and he looks lost trying to defend a pick and roll. His offensive game is straight up sick, but his defensive game is horrendous. Thats my main beef with T-Mac

first..... i never said hill was in orlando w/ shaq..

second..... i meant nick anderson..thnx

third..... what does a person's race have to do w/anything? on the 17th..shaq and yao square off....shaq will probably get the better of him..this time....yao is a more complete player, along the lines of the dream...

fourth...there are two teams that have "built" around shaq and only one has succeeded...and not to just due to shaq...can u say role players?

fifth...

if you take either Kobe OR Shaq outta the equation they won't win a title.
is the absolute truth...neither are good enuff w/out the other to win...the lakers just plain **** w/out either of them
and now on to the rambling..hehe....

kobe has yet to develop the "kill" instinct..if he would...next mj...

shaq is just size...dream schooled him repeatly on the outside, the reason shaq won't hardly leave the paint on defense

if the rockets can keep yao and get that lamont jefferson(?) outa high school...watch out..next dynasty

however, the bulls proved u don't need a dominating inside presence to win titles..just a role player (horace grant first..dennis rodman second) who will give up the body on defence and getting boards...horace was the bettter offensive weapon..rodman..defense......

also the bulls always had a legit 3 point threat...paxson first then steve kerr......always someone to throw the rock to if in trouble..

and of course the greatest player ever in mj and the greatest side kick ever in pippen.....

funny how this got de-railed..hehe

and to the bj over the stick...in the ferrari..it should be "paddle" shifted..no stick to get in the way...lambo..well, if she's really good, he wouldn't need to move/gid rid of the stick...

I definitely think the Rockets are going in a good direction...and they just added James Posey, a versatile guard/foward that can put up 15/game when asked to. Throw in one of the best all around pg's in Francis, and a great SG in Mobley, plus the rising Yao Ming, who has shown that he has nice outside range and good moves, and they are gonna be a team that I believe no one can stop.

i like how francis "the franchise" has deferred to everyone this year..not trying to do it all..maturity....anyway, the rockets are still a little ways away..need deeper bench, esp at francis and yao postions....but they are definitely moving in the right direction...

lakers watch out...phil might be leaving soon.....oh ohh......who's gonna keep "ego city" in check??..i know..bring back pat..hehehahahehehaha

so yao ming can shoot farther than shaq and that makes him a all round better player.

when yao ming goes to the paint he's gonna get tossed around. He's a big ****ing stick man!! he needs to get some muscles/stronger and learn how to play in the paint before the rockets go anywhere!! Cuz francis can't carry them to a championship.

They should get King Charles on the bench, he can keep those 2 fools in line

oops, sorry, when u said grant i thought u meant hill, but the i realized you were talking about horace.

i never said a persons race has anything to do with anything, im just saying im chinese and im glad ming (a person of my nationality is going to make it to the all-star game, i then realized the short quote after that may have caused some confusion).

two teams have been built around shaq, but with shaq in his prime the last 3 years, the lakers coulda easily won a title without kobe. put another player in there that is an allstar and they woulda won a title. if u take the penny of the orlando days and pair him up with the shaq of the last 3 years, theres an easy title for you right there.

shaq may be just size, but take hakeem in his prime and put him up against shaq in his prime, shaq will still dominate him. but if you wanna talk about a better overall player, then theres no doubt its hakeem. but athleticism doesnt win championships, its dominance that wins. jordan dominated his opponents, he won 6 titles... shaq dominates oponents, he won 3. hakeem dominated in his prime, thats why he got his 2.

and about pippen being one of the nbas 50 greatest players.... i find that REALLY hard to believe... i think pippen is overrated, he's a good player, really good actually, but not one of the best... he was good in chicago because of MJ, but to put pippen on that list is just absurd..... his defense is good, but he just straight up blows on offense, always has, always will.
