Legit is ALWAYS better lol. Install it and get it runnin, I downloaded it and use it about once a week.

lol, i know i really want a new sxrd And i got like 100 bux in reward $ a instore credit of 450 for a xbox 360 and the nero which i think is close to 100 so i was maybe just bein a lil greedy maybe considering i could just DL it and have another 100 towards the tv.. Would it be any different , or is it just the fact that it is a legit store bought item

Only downside to downloading it is waiting for it to download, but being an app it's usually small. So prolly download it and make sure its the real deal then take back the legit copy lol.

could you go more into detail about the opening ports part? or is it specific to the torrent you're downloading? how is bitcomet(what I use) compared to utorrent?

Throttle your UL speed at 85% of max when you are DL&UL at the same time. Bouncing off your UL cap will slow down your DL speeds

I.E. My max UL is 45k on my time warner sevice at home so I throttle the UL to 38k when I am downloading and I set it to max when I am not.

opening ports depends on which firewall or router you use, if you dont use either there is no need to open a port

Has nothing to do with seeding, just lets you get max speed downloading so you dont have to wait longer to watch the movie or listen to the music.

Doesnt matter if you throttle to 5k as long as you seed back what you take.

Since you are new to torrents open sites are the best bet, but you run a larger risk of being busted for illegal uploading. Try to hide your ip as much as possible, use Peer Guardian and maybe a proxy if you can.

Thanks everyone for your patience and help, i know i should know what im doing on here by now since my 12 yr old cousin is downloading torrents and has more knowledge on the net than me.. Sad i know.. All im usually on the net for is email and forums, maybe some utube or ebaums..

So what would be my best setup.. I Downloaded utorrent, and like howw its setup, looks like you can customize quite a bit.. and for the torrents look where ..

gotcha so the better ( and higher ) seeds which are im assuming like users for limewire with a lower leecher rate is best.. Im just worried about gettin a nasty virus or something.. I don't really get much viruses from bittorrent, just depends on what you download. Don't be going on crazy and downloading all sorts of stupid crap.
