I have had a ps3 for about a year now...any cartoon movie will be off the chain as far as picture quality...any movie made pre-hd will look like a dvd...i got the 5 free blue rays with my ps3 and most of them were older movies and they look about the same as if i ran a dvd threw my 1080 upconvert dvd player
