I have a wall in a mountaineer and I have leather seats(sure they don't let much bass go through them) and the seats contour pretty close to the b pillars, In the middle I had this huge center console that touched both seats. I must have been back pressuring the hell out of the subs before. I took it out last night for the first time since I pulled out the console (also got pulled over HA) But The differences I have noticed so far. For sure an volume increase. Also low freqs prob doubled if not more(before with the higher tune the lows didn't sound great and had mechanical noise, not no more!) Clarity WOW!!!! 10 times better, It was bad sounding at best before on clarity. Also now no more coil smell!. I mean it makes sense to sit here and think about it but before hand I would have NEVER Imagined this gain. Honestly I didn't Imagine I would see much difference if any. I mean you think just that little console, But I guess all 8 subs technically were behind seats or console so I am sure there was a hell of a lot of pressure and cancellation back there, so when I moved that console it relieved that pressure thus making the subs move more fluent as they are suppose to do thus increasing overall output of the boxes even out of the ports which were above the seat lines... Sorry pretty excited that it had that major of an increase . I would guess overall max volume increased 50 to 100 percent gain. and lows much greater . Sorry anybody in walls notice any increases just by taking that console out .. To the ear? to the meter? I haven't remetered it yet
