this is the best advice. the rice will pull the moisture out of the phone and it's pretty safe method to trying to dry it out. also disassemble the phone as much as you can, the more covers you can pull off the better.

Oh ya forgot to mention atleast pull the battery off

lol people come in my work and hand me their phone saying it wont come on, then i pull the battery and tell them it's been wet and they say "yeah I dropped it in the toilet yesterday"

Now i ask what happened to it before I hold it lol

Just pull out the battery and dont turn it on if its wet, it'll work again once it dries.

i sell phones. so i hear the toilet thing about once a week. but the best way to try to save a phone is taking it apart and putting it in a bag of rice. sucks all the moisture out. food dehydrator would probably be better.

unfortunately what usually happens is corrosion on the inside of the phone will make the phone crap out a few days/weeks/months later.

i have also dropped my phone in the toilet twice myself. :\

Don't try to use it when it's still wet, or you'll fry it. Just let it dry out totally, and then give it a go.
