Don't try to use it when it's still wet, or you'll fry it. Just let it dry out totally, and then give it a go.

my niece left her phone outside for 3 days, 2 of which it downpoured for hours at a time..... we thought the phone was dead. well my dad took a blow dryer to it, without taking it apart, and tried to blow the air into it as much as possible. then we just let it sit for a few days until the screen stopped showing condensation on the inside and when we charged it up and turned it on it was just fine.

sat in it for about 30 min. pulled out after each ten min just to let cool a lil. and boom works like a champ.

this is the best advice. the rice will pull the moisture out of the phone and it's pretty safe method to trying to dry it out. also disassemble the phone as much as you can, the more covers you can pull off the better.

Most won't because the battery has a safety thing when its wet.
