These oil cartels know americans will still buy gas so the oil prices will continue to rise. Our gas prices are still lower than the rest of the world but the billionaire oil barrens will continue t get rich off this country. Why u think there aren't more hybrids and electric cars? Oil companies control transport in this country

Yeah, because the government sets the price for gasoline. Oh wait, they dont.
The oil companies dont care that you are out of work. They shouldnt care about you. They care about profit. Its a business. They have a bottom line.

Do you care about oil companies? Do you think their profits should be limited? They should be put out for your benefit? Sure you do. You have a bottom line as well. Youre not looking for a profit, but youre trying to save up money, same as them.

So you want to screw them, and they want to screw you. You want to be in the green, and so do they. Youre just pissy because they are in control of you. If you dont want to complain about it, maybe ride the bus? Ride a bike? Get a more economical car? Dont waste money on stereo equipment you dont need? Cut back spending in other places? Get a better job?

I think you should stop complaining and stfu. We have some of the cheapest gasoline in the entire world.

because our inflation is more under control. ya its cheaper then some foreign countries charging 1 million a gallon. but 1 million is what a **** chicken cost ins ome of those countries

Make no mistake, we ARE being gouged. Gouged like crazy. But one fact remains. Oil can and WILL run out. The earth only has a finite supply of it. Not sure exactly when that is going to happen but it WILL happen sooner than most people think. And when that happens, the end of the world as we know it will be upon us.

There is a lot of wrong in this thread.

The people of the US screwed themselves by being lazy, and cheap. They want everything for nothing, so everything gets outsourced to cheaper countries. Wonder why there is no jobs.....cause you don't make anything anymore. Anytime the price on something goes up, people biotch and complain, until a company finds it can outsource it for cheaper, and markets the cheaper product so you will buy it.

Americans drive the biggest gas guzzeling vehicles in the world. Why...because fuel is cheap compared to the rest of the world. Americans have the attitude that everything they do/have has to be the biggest and best out there. That ideology is now coming around to bite them in the arse.

If the government would step in, it wouldn't be to subsidize the price of fuel, it should be to create refineries. This creates jobs, and lowers the cost of importing fuel. If the USA would buy more oil from Canada, and drill from it's own reserves, they would be able to lower fuel prices. Create a job market again as well. Actually turn the economy around.

I am originally from England. Been in the states 5 years. I don't consider $3.50, or even $5.00 a gallon expensive what so ever. I drive a 5.7l V8 and smile every time i fill up. I guess it's all what you get used to.

WIll you all STFU about gas prices. nothing u do will/can effect gas prices. drive a hybrid/electric car or better yet walk or ride a bike. this discussion has been on there before and will happen again. gas prices **** there to high we alllllllll know this but the sooner u get over it the better off you will be, save yourself the stress and complaining. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

These guys raise prices and blame it on the middle east every time,but in the end nothing

changes in the middle east,its just an opportunity to **** - Exxon had record profits last year

numbers are so high I could not believe it when I saw it - corp america is raping america

and america is selling its self down the river......gas is 35 cents a gallon in the middle east

I guess they are not worried.........

Now this right here proves something!!! Now for the ones that's saying (STFU) STFU & GTFO, you don't care your getting screwed but for the ones thats tired of it this can help blow off some steam and never know our voices might one day be heard.

I wouldn't mind 2.00 a gal or high as 2.50 a gal but when there is families ****** starving because they live somewhere where they don't have public transit trying to look for work is BS, who's helping them? Just think about that before you say STFU because we know your not helping.
