Today's gas prices that's driving us crazy

Over night it went from 2.99 to 3.13 for regular. Only good thing about not driving the sled anymore is not having to pay for premium.

I have 2 CRX's....3 Subaru BRATS....and a Civic Hybrid that all get 30+MPG FTW
OMGGGGG GIVE ME ONE OF THOSE BRATS!!!!!!! NOW!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

I've ALWAYS wanted to turn a Brat/Baja into a crazy offroader; lift it like 2 feet, do an STi swap, 3 lightbars... gah. You lucky 'stard!

Working in the Oil Industry ftw.....

Higher gas prices don't really bother me, Their drilling like crazy out here right now. Which means I sell more parts

Edit: I paid $3.50 last night for regular

You know it's cuz of Libya right? Wanting to "demonstrate their power" by blowing up some of their refineries?
That sounds like a great idea. Let's destroy our greatest source of income to make a point. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif
not to mention this cost me about 500 on the stock marker dipping in just 2 days

speculators set prices on oil... am i not correct. supply and demand can blow a donkey dong, its the people who decide what gas may or may not get to who need to be castrated or worse.

Unrest in middle east / declining and/or uncertain supply = higher oil prices = higher gas prices
Not as simple as the oil companies just deciding to charge more -- we have an open oil trading market and the price is decided by the market and the oil cartels for the most part. If the market sees uncertainty pricing goes up -- half the middle east is going nuts right now.

Food is going up dramatically too in almost every country but the USA - we should be thankful for that at least.

In the mean-time I am glad I bought a CRX with no payments and 30+ MPG
I believe Saudi Arabia is stepping in to cover the decreased supply of Libya. Not sure where I read that, but that would keep supply stable in order to stabilize prices. Higher crude oil pricing would have impacts throughout our entire economy, not just paying for gas. Plus increasing levels of ethanol that have to be used in gasoline is raising food prices no matter what.
