I'm thinking about getting some RE XXXs because everyone around here has TDXs and i mentioned REAudio at a local comp and the local Diamond dealer was like dude those subs are shit then i mentioned adire audio and he was like they worse! but what do you expect, he sells Diamonds. so, im thinking of shutting them up, and being diffrent, so would two 12" XXX hit/sound better than 2 12" TDX? my amp/box is in my sig so that should give u a good idea of what i would be running them with. this is mainly a want to be unique around here. If you want the SPL/differences by all means go with RE or SS or Adire or TC or Acendant Audio or DD or Memphis or Image Dynamics or Atomic or ETC.........

**** straight, no experience with diamond subs or RE but I can vouch for SS & TC's. They will smash any mainstream sub line period. Install dependent yes. This fellow surely knows that and is prob. sporting a top notch install with that equipment. you can make subs from RE, adire, SS, TC, etc. do amazing shit. Just a bite from personal experience. back in the day i ran my share of JLw6's, kicker comps & solos, etc. i will never purchase a mainstream sub again.

that box you have will work fine with the xxx 12"s...iirc it had a pretty good amount of port..id imagine thered be a pretty substantial difference..

157 is a very respectable score for any 2 15"s...especially with that power.

If your wanting to have the best chance to beat that guy in your town, then try looking at the memphis mojo, or mmats juggernaugt. I would say those subs would give you a better chance at beating him, since they are mainly geared torwards spl. 157 is going to be hard to beat unless your going to go all out

if you just wanna beat someone at a contest, do like a group did around here a few weeks ago. Pool all you and your friends' crap into one vehicle and kick his butt. We all had a church van kick ours, 18*soloX and two colossus(?) amps.

or if you want to stick with re, i do believe the mt series subs would be better to compete for spl purposes. that's what it is made for

XXX's are awesome sounding woofers and can get loud doing it. They're one of the best daily driving subs you can get...but for all out spl go with some RE MT's. They're RE's spl woofer.

They get louder than the xxx's but not as loud as the mt's. A great choice though for a much lower price than the mt's. The mt's are the shiznit right now in spl .

yeah he is the dealers demo car so they decked him out as much as possible...wanna hate him even more? its in a 03 H1 Hummer...he also has 6 sets of compnents in there...he has too much money
