i was thinking about the MTs but i still want some sound quality and i dont have enough money to have a daily and a comp. set up

They get louder than the xxx's but not as loud as the mt's. A great choice though for a much lower price than the mt's. The mt's are the shiznit right now in spl .

haha bought it used for $500 plus i may have some nice stuff but it takes me a while to save up for this stuff, i just saved my money for like 6 months and got me what i could

just get a pair if MT 12's, even if it takes saving up a bit. the MT wont fart like audiobahns id think. if your concerned about the sq for daily driving, get 2 SX 15's and put them in a big box with alot of port, they like big ports, and u will be close to that number id think. but the MT's will do it, and idk but i dont think he did 157, i have to be there to belive it.

well, is there any way to tweak the term lab into a false higher reading? the mic was on the dash and he showed us all the reading while metering so maybe he fu

I suppose anything is possible, but if everything is done right poeple can acheive great numbers out of almost any sub. An associate of mine competed with 2 pg octanezr 12s and hit 148 dbs on a termlab with only 600watts. Im working on an spl vehicle as we speak right now, involving these subs, except I will be running 4 of them with about 2kw. Its all in the install, and its very much possible that the diamond car did hit 157.

157db's on the NEW termlab, with TWO 15's and only 1200watts to each... in an H1? No way that's legit.
