To wall or not

I currently have an econoline cargo van that i'm going to use to haul around some kayaks, and do basic running around in. I was thinking of putting up a wall to seperate the cab area from the back (for more than just the sub). Would I get the best sound (loud bass) from my single 15" sub in the wall, or would I be better off not having a wall and just putting the sub all the way in the back of the van. The sub is a audiobahn AW-1500 4 ohm dvc 800 watts rms, and the (underpowered) amp is a us amps usa-100. I really don't want to spend any money on a bigger amp, I just want to use what I have.

Thanks

I wouldnt bother walling with only 1 15" especially in a cargo van. Just run the wires with enough slack so you can push the box forward if you want to put kayaks or haul something in the back.

Ok thanks for the reply. When I used it everyday as a work van it had the factory metal divider in it that I beefed up with wood to keep the noise down. I tore the metal divider out and was debating on putting a wood one up for noise, to make the passenger area smaller for heat-cooling, and for the sub with room for another 15. Maybe it wouldn't be worth my time like you said.
