I believe this was discussed a while ago. If I remember correctly, AC current (like a house) flows better with more strands. DC current (like car audio //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) flows best with a solid copper bar (or fewer, thicker strands, as solid is usually impractical). Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I think I remember it correctly.

I would think its worth it. cause its nice to know how my/ur levels are
