Then you obviously dont know what true sound quality is. So you would probably benifit more from a ported box.

F farbs93 10+ year member Junior Member 27 0 Ft Lauderdale, FL Jan 1, 2004 #7 I had 2 12" L7's with 2 jl 500/1's. I had them sealed and hated them. HATED THEM. Then i got them ported and they sounded real good. All preference to ear, but mine hit a lot harder in a 6cu ft ported box
