To much daily power?

Im planning on putting two sundown saz-3500's on my two 12" hdc4's. I had one sundown saz-3500 on a single 12" hdc4 in an oversized box ran at .5, and it took it like a champ. It got extremely loud too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif So I think you should be alright, just make sure to send clean power.

Well i just was sketched out lol AQ I know does over specs which was 2000 rms but ill be giving them 4000 ea. lol so i just wanted to make sure cuz thats to expensive of a sub to be frequently replacing/reconing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Daily is the key word here. If you are competing, its the finals, and your g/f wont touch your peener unless you win... sure, absolutely, push your subs to their limit. But for a daily system, bumping down main street, and with an apparently finite budget, Id recommend being a little more conservative.

Lol that made me laugh. Idk I want 2 18s and a good amp for daily use and i wanna be above 150 on music

LOL. I'll be amazed if those subs last you more than 2 weeks and the amp lasts more than 9 months.

As a matter of fact when you get those subs, clamp a 2000W sine wave to one and let me know how long it lasts before going up in smoke.

If it were me I'd feel much safer using more smaller amps and more smaller subs. Will be loads more reliable and cost a lot less when something breaks.

You'd better start figuring out how much room you have for an enclosure and how much room you have for batts, and amps. That mustang can't have dual alts unless you give up your ac compressor. The alts they make for it won't power much more than 3k. So, if you're thinking of running 8k "daily" you're screwed. You're going to have some severe voltage issues and lose lots of amps... or you'll have to settle for only cranking it up on burps. You're going to give up a lot of room for those 18's. You need to talk to 9515rob. He has a LOUD mustang and knows his stuff. I think he'll set you straight. You will most likely not reach your goal with 18's though and picking your subs and amps before knowing your volume (in cubic feet) budget is incredibly backwards.

Not for the mustang //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif buying a tahoe soon lol so i will be getting rid of the 3rd row seats then ill be fitting 8-9 cubes

look at the ascendant mayhems for your subs ,but if you are wanting 155 daily then you'll prolly need 4 of them, and a dc 9 or 12 k would be perfect ,or you can even go with 2 7.5k's ,if the box is built right and you have the alts and batteries, like one of my teammates then you'll get there.his tahoe does 155.6 with 4 18" mayhems and a dc 12k.he also has i think 6 batteries and 3 or 4 alts

It depends how you meter. Sealed on the dash I come close to 155 with my 2 15's. Usaci I'm a little over 155. Meca style is where i hurt the most. It's lower than my sealed score. What I"m saying is, if he puts the mic in the kick and opens the drivers door it's fairly easy to hit 155. (I don't mean it's actually easy, but if you put the time and money into it, it's MUCH easier than say hitting 155 trying to stay below the window line on fusing at the headrest. It's a totally different ballgame.)
