TO is crying on TV

I would take Farve over Brady anyday of the week, but then I would take Brady, lol! Those are who are playing though, if you ask me the best QB off all time is Joe Montana IMHO. That guy was something else! Rice, Taylor, Craig, Rathman! I miss watching them play.

Not saying Brady won't surpass Farves or Montana's numbers for that matter, but to me Farve is just fun to watch. He loves the game he plays and it shows everytime rather it him doing bad and looking pissed as all hell(nature of the game) or him doing good and picking up lineman or throwing snowballs, lol! Guy has amazing numbers, and is a joy to watch! Brady will be great, but IMO is kinda boring.

I was at that game it was hilarious to watch him throw a snowball. Heres to pics of stuff you guys couldnt see from tv. The tractor on the field and in 3rd quarter when it was almost a whiteout.

I'm a Giants fan, but I'm also quick to criticize them, so I consider myself pretty unbiased when it comes to this game.

I honestly think it will come down to which version of either QB comes out to play. With Favre, you can almost tell right away if he's going to have a good game or a bad game, and pretty much the same thing with Eli. I think both teams have very good running games, and Grant really showed what he can do last week. The Giants have a better chance of shutting down Grant then the Packers do shutting down Jacobs/Bradshaw.

It'll be a good game, hopefully...

A guy that I tailgate with, played football with Vinatieri for a year in college. This guy is also somehow related to Adam Timmerman.
Nice. I still remember being like 7 years old when he got drafted and he came to our school to sign autographs on Xeerox pictures. Wish I would have kept those, might be worth something some day. Oh well.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I'm obviously rooting for the Pack, and I think they have the best chance to win. Favre is good under pressure, and I think the GB defense can get to Manning enough to get him off his game. Plus, GB has probably the best pair of corners in the league (Champ Bailey is the best, but I think Harris/Bigby make a better team thean Bailey/Bly. At least this year.) so Manning is going to have a hard time making big plays. I think it'll come down to whether the Giant's running game can keep up with the Pack's passing game.

Packers have the NFC invitation shoe'd in. All they need to do is not screw it up.

I am going for the Pack! Would like to see Farve in another SB, I still think either SD or NE would win though. They are just to good and both are the hottest teams in the NFL.
Still wouldn't be mad to see Farve get another ring. He is a heck of a guy.
LT is great, but he hasn't had a fantastic year. And I think the GB defense could pretty much shut Rivers down. That and Chambers is from Wisconsin. As rabid as GB fans are I could see him being too scared to show up:laugh:

I think the pack has a decent chance against the Patriots too. We've shown a couple times this year, including last Saturday, that the Pats aren't the only ones who can run up the score.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Obviously, the game come downs to three things:

1) Green Bay's CB's (in particular, Al Harris and Charles Woodson). The Giants have two legitimate threats in the air. Amani Toomer and Plaxico Buress. Obviously, If the Woodson and Harris can disrupt them enough to falter on their routes, then Eli Manning would have a much harder time trying to pass (Playing man coverage allows them to stack the box, and everyone knows a Manning can't run to save his life). Admittedly, Manning has been playing excellent. He's not 92.9% crazy like Tom Brady, but enough to hush most of his critics. This key because he will go up against a very tough tandem of cornerbacks and a very physical team on defense. They are not afraid to be rough.

2) Giants Pass Rush (Osi and Strahan). Favre isn't the most agile guy anymore either. The Giants pass rush is absolutely imperative now because of the massive amounts of injuries that the Giants Secondary has sustained (Sam Madison, and now Ross?) With Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, Bubba Franks, and James Jones they are going to need to pressure Favre to win. With injured cornerbacks, they must make Favre revert to his winner-take-all, high stakes, INT Prone passing fits he goes through win he forces the ball.

3) Lambeau. Snow + Freezing Temperatures + Eli Manning + On the Road (at Lambeau, no less) + In the Playoffs? ARE YOU JOKING ME? All instincts to anyone who pays attention to football should be going off nonstop! This is like taking the Dolphins to win it all next year.

Umm, LT didn't have a good year, lol! He lead the leauge in rushing again. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Man tuff crowd just because you do everything in one year and he puts up close to 1500 yards and has another good amount from recieving. He is his team(most of the time) and yeah he had one heck of a year last year, but where did it get them? Least this year they are in the Championship game. As far as Rivers, well GB does have some great corners in Harris and Woodsen, so possible, however I think LT or for that fact Michael Turner could do well on the ground. Chambers, who knows, he is one of our better recievers so he better play! Then again Vincent Jackson has looked steller in the playoffs and about time. I had high hopes for that kid.

As far as NE, who more than likely that is who you would be playing being all the injuries to the Chargers could be more of a challenge, a huge one. Brady is a shit ton better than Rivers, that is evident and they have proved as of late they can run and their defense is strong. You better hope the Chargers win, lol!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
