TO is crying on TV

I don't think he's peaked. He probably had the best season a QB has ever had, and it helped that he was barely touched all year long. I think he can still perform at a all-pro level for at least 5-6 more years.
Don't get me wrong, I hope he does surpass Favre. Records are made to be broken.

But I also seriously doubt he will continue at the pace he set this year. We'll just have to see how long he lasts and how the team around him changes over the years. If he keeps up the pace he's set in previous years for another 7-8 seasons, he might catch up with Favre. But even if he lasts five more years and keeps throwing 50 TD passes a year, he'll barely surpass Favre. By the end of his career, Brady will be a no-brainer hall-of-fame pick and will be one of the Top 5 QBs in NFL history. Number one is another question. We'll just have to wait.

I don't think he has to outdo Favre's numbers to be considered a better player, he already has more rings then him, and looks like he has a good chance of adding to that over the rest of his career.

being a better QB has nothing to do with the ammount of rings you have.

In your reasoning, Trent Dilfer (1 ring) is better then Dan Marino (none)

Farve has never had a "Dynasty" level team around him and he has still produced. It ill take a lot for him to be considered a better player than Favre. If the Packers had picked up Moss like they should have, I doubt we'd even be having this conversation.

If they picked up moss with Donald Driver, Greg Jennings and their RB (Ryan Grant?) playing the way they have been playing, I think the patriots and the packers roles would be reversed.

I didn't say that.

If you take 2 guys, with equal numbers, one has 5 rings, the other has none...who do you think will be viewed as a better player?

word.

Kurt Warner has a SB ring and I would smack you in the head for saying he's on the same level as Favre.

Brady is very good. One of the most accurate QBs to ever play the game. But he has been blessed with good teams since the day he became a starter

don't diss my boy Kurt Warner.

He is the most accurate QB. (at least he was, i'm not sure if he still is).

Regardless, hes an old guy, who doesn't have the spryness of Favre.

Not on the same level, by any means, but he is a good quarterback. Hes had a lot of problems with injuries though.

Yup. I was so pissed that they didn't pick Moss up. Favre even offered to take a pay cut so the organization could afford him.

Yeah, lol. Can't expect much from any QB playing for the Cards. Look at how much better Jake Plumber did with Denver. Still think it was a mistake to put in Cutler so early, but he hasn't done terribly (13 points above league average QB rating).

Point is, a QB is only as good as the team he plays for. Favre has been on some sub-par teams and has done well. Brady has yet to be challenged in the ways Favre has.

yeah.

I'm a rams fan and kurt warner is the person who got me interested in football (i started watching cuz they did so good) so I like to back him up whenever possible.

And Warner's accuracy is on par with Favre and Brady. Slightly over, but not much
oh no, definately Brady and Favre are better quarterbacks. But Warner in his day was just as good as them, if not slightly better.

Few seasons come close to matching or surpassing the 1999 St. Louis Rams.

yeah.

I really had a bad year because I'm a Broncos fan first. Just didn't have the weapons we normally do. They got away from the offense that made them who they are, and their defense really suffered from losing some good players. No Rod Smith, no Pryce. We need a tight end and we need a better o-line (I think they had the youngest o-line in the league IIRC).
