db-r; i have done the swap test and the c&d liberty did better hands down. the c&d is also a bigger batttery weighing in @ 95lbs vrs kinetik's 69lbs. also size wise bigger, the kinetik is rated for a little more ah but real world testing is where its at.

I wouldn't use ups/standing power type batteries for daily...they tend not to liked to be charged while in use.

I loved my ap3k and they can do .5 for a while rising to 1 ish. Give them 1-1.5 to start and a decent electrical and you will get a usable 3k out of them. give them 2 to start and rise to 4 or more and well then i only got about 1700. still decent amp. i have owned almost every kind of forum boner amp and it is the best for the money , sold it and got an ap1500 if that means anything. prevoiusly have owned 2 orion 1200d strapped, vfl 200.1, ab xd3k, jl 500/1. the ap3k will push most any decent sub like hdc3 or omega to its limits without heating itup from diry power they are the same as when ppl swap them with other amps its not like you can tell they are dirty power ppl just say that cause of the price!!

$150 for 1500w rms or $500 for 1500w rms?

Your choice... I bet the AP will last at least 1/4th the life of the sundown. Oh and $10 says you don't keep the sundown long enough to prove that. (My point being, you're probably not going to have that amp for its entire lifetime, so why would you pay so much more for an amp that will have a longer life?). Yes I realize the Sundown is probably more stable than the AP at low ohm loads, but is it really worth $400 more when you could just buy another AP15001D, or Just buy the 3k and still be in at under half the price?

P.S. I'm talking new prices here, not used.

i own an ap15001d.... i like it. not like zomfg.... but its koo. havnt upgraded cuz kinda dont want to. sundown is a great product yeah hence he higher price tag... but for the money he ap's are still kickn
