What type of expanding foam?

And also, I feel like a lot of my rattle that I am hearing from outside of the car is coming from under my car. There are some pieces of metal that seem to extend down to cover the muffle and seperate it from the trunk, and I feel like there are resonating. Would sound deadening the bottom of my trunk keep rattles from getting there?

I use great stuff triple expanding foam. Make sure you take everything out of the trunk and cover everything with plastic. Great stuff is nasty when it gets everywhere. As for under car rattles just try to tighten everything up you can, somehting you wont be able to help.

As for sound deadening under the car, go to a automotive store and buy a can of spray on undercoating. It might help a little.
