So ive just got afew questions for the people that know there stuff.

Right now im running Windows Vista on my laptop with 2 gigs of ram etc its pretty pimped out, right now its a 32bit vista setup, but i was wondering that since this computer has the Dual Core Processor setup am i really taking full advantage of dual core processing just running 32bit?

I was thinking of possibly going with a 64bit operating system so that i could take full advantage of the dual core setup, i heard windows vista Ultimate supports this? is there any other setup you know that runs off a 64bit setup (where i could get it) or what your opinions are on this issue? Im assuming itd be alot faster obviously and take full advantage of dual core

running 64 bit will fully use both cores with programs that are 64 bit which are slim as of now, but the OS is 64 bit so it works much better...

I have 64 bit on my desktop and with my 10k raptor this baby flys...

You have to be careful with a 64-bit processing core. Alot of programs are not yet compatible with 64-bit operating systems. Although i'm sure this will not be an issue within the next 6mos-1year.

The 64-bit OS does run much faster than a 32-bit OS though.
