i have decided on getting these suckers all i need to decide is what size/ coil config i want.

1: single 15 2+2 ohm

or

2: 1 pair of 12's 4+4 ohm

the amps specs are pictured below

tell me what you think

after SPL mainly with some SQ just so i can listen to it all day

Get dual 4's for 1 ohm load

You should get more out of a pair of 12's then a single 15. I would go for the 12's. It looks like from what you listed that these are dual voice coil subs so each 12 would net 2 ohms and together the pair would bring you down to 1 ohm so this would pull 1000w from your amp. Just curious is your amp a Soundstream? I saw the USA in front of the model #. I have a Soundstream USA305, I have had it for around 4-5 years and am still very pleased with it.

are the k series 12's 1 ohm stable? for the nine.1 amp, or jbl amp maybe?

it is not the subs that need to be one ohm stable it is the amp...
