the tundra cant be that big of a jump over the titan. havent drove the new tundra, but hell, every toyota ive driven never had any decent power to it it. i think both trucks are considerable good. the thing with nissan i think is that they need to step up on their interior.

Yeah, its only feeding about 380hp through 6 gears.

Love the look of the titan, but do a consumer reports check on the nissan titan and armada and they get the lowest rating of suv and truck reliability--that reason alone would steer me towards a tundra.

Yeah but that's because it's new and has bugs to work out, just like the FJ Cruiser, those are getting horrible reliability scores....... and the new Tundra has had a number of people with engine failures //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

I'm a bit biased, can you guess which way? So far my family has owned:

my parents

1986 Nissan Maxima , 1989 Nissan Maxima, 2006 Nissan Murano*, 2001 Nissan Frontier SE-V6*

me

1986 Nissan 300ZX Turbo GLL 2+2, 1988 Nissan Hardbody SE-V6, 89 maxima, 2005 Nissan Sentra*

*- Still own

My little truck was as close to bulletproof as it gets, I had 360,000 kms (225,000 miles) on it when we sold it and the only things replaced were the alternator and the clutch (Totally my fault I used to get the truck stuck in mud up to the center caps of the rear wheels and get it out by rocking it for about an hour, you could smell it for a day after) The truck was jumped countless times and never had a single squeak or rattle, and would occasionally go to about 6,000miles between oil changes and not burn a drop.

The 89 max went from my parents to me and I gave them my truck. The max had about 200,000 miles and would also go about 5-6,000 miles between oil changes and the oil is still light colored. My 1994 Mazda 626 that I bought to replace it on my 8 hour commute to work gets the oil changed at 2500-3000 miles and the oils is dirtier looking than after double the time in either my truck or the max.

at least 20 cam shafts have snapped. thats just kind of how it goes though. there are always recalls.
