Tips on eliminating unwanted vibration

I am planing to make a custom fiberglass sub enclosure. For a sub on each side of the trunk. I have a friend that has a nice looking setup, but once your in the car playing it, everything sounds awful, all you hear from his subs is the trunk popping and bouncing off everything:crap:. Sound deadener helps reduce rattling.. your description makes it sound like his box is a P.O.S and its rattling..

His box could **** too but if you look at the trunk while it's the subs are beatin you can actually see it like trying to unhinge. How does sound deadening work?

Thats going to happen.. when you get to a certain point you can't do much to stop rattles.. Im not quite sure on how it works or what its made of but you put it under all your carpet and panels and it stops a lot of road noises and rattles..
