tinted headlights too dark.

wet sand em down with decreasing grits until visible.. 2000, 1500, 1200, 1000, 500, after they become some what better repeat that order in reverse to make em smooth again

Now then that list is just how I would do it since Idk what grit would take off the vht stuff well enough without completely take it off.. but if you know the magic number start there sand em down then use finer paper to smooth em out

 
I thought once the light was on the headlights/taillights appeared stock? I have been considering do this to my car as well but if its going to not allow light through I may have to pass.

are there different tint levels like on window tint?

Dont put HID's in headlight housings that were not designed for HID's.

Her car will be just like all the other riced out hondas out there that blind the shit out of oncoming traffic because the reflective part of the housing was not designed with HIDs in mind.
