tint ticket

that cop has a stupid argument. if the sunlight in the day is intense enough to get a doctor's note then it would be the SAME situation at night with headlights. he's just arrogant and probably lost both those cases so i call bs on it. my eyes are super sensitive so i've been thinking about getting a note. even the optholmologist could tell right away how sensitive my eyes are. headlights kill me at night just as bad as the sun. when i tint i'm going 15% all around and i'm in cali. if you get a ticket for it, it might as well have been as dark as you wanted cause i personally think they see tint as a ticket no matter how dark.

I've had my windows tinted at 20% for nearly 4 years now. I got pulled over when I first got it and got a warning. Just this past weekend, I got pulled over for it, and the dickhead gave me a ticket. While I was sitting there waiting for him to write the ticket, at least 10 other vehicles drove by that had what looked like 5% on their front windows. I guess the guy doesn't like people from out of town, but either way, now I have to drive all the way back up there to pay the ticket.

i got 20% all around... know what i do if i get pulled over? roll the windows down. fvckin no brainer right there.
I always do that too, but when the reason you are getting pulled over is because of your tint, then putting your windows down is useless.

Just wondering if anyone has got a tint ticket in Kentucky how much did it cost?
I am trying to decide if it is worth going dark
i've never had any above 5%...

on the celica there is 1 layer of 2 1/2 and one layer of 5.

my dad has gotten pulled over once in my s10 in lexington and it was 5 all around and 20 on the entire windshield, got a warning only then anyhow though.

You were already pulled over when the 10 people went by...

x2.

I got a $130 ticket. Paid the fine, been good for a little over a year now.

I tell cops all the time when they pull me over

"hey, that guy there is speeding, go get him".

Most of the time they do.

However, one cop, who apparently hates out-of-towners (since I was in another town) said no, and proceeded to write me a ticket. The nerve!
