tint ticket

Kentucky Tint Laws

Front Side:35%

Rear Sides:18%

Back Window:18%

And you cant tint below the AS1 line on the front windshield

Remember these are state laws and might be different in your city/county

Lol yea fvkin IL, My buddy got pulled over for that and the fine was around $70 but he just said to the cop he'd rip it off right then and there and the cop agreed. Week later re-tinted it for less than $70 and no longer goes through that town.

go to your optometrist and get a prescription
or not...

This was posted by a cop on another forum speaking on just that:

As stated a couple of posts above this one...nearly all states have a provision for tinted windows for medical necessity. I've been to court twice on a medical re-eval where this was used--and twice I've been sucessfull in getting the driver's license suspended indefinately.
I'm not a doctor--but I'm qualified to testify as an expert in what it takes to safely operate a motor vehicle. I can testify to the hazardous conditions that exist when driving a car at night with dark tinted windows. I can make a compelling argument that in the event your are allowed to have tinted windows due to medical necessity, that a provision is added to your license that your NEVER eligiable to drive during the hours of darkness, and your vehicle is considered "in-operable" (meaning nobody else can drive your car during the hours of darkness either. Perhaps it would be easier to get tint, just not dark tint--just an option.

so a cop claims to win twice and now the world is coming to an end...if he can make such a compelling argument perhaps he should be a lawyer. Just some food for thought...no chance the license was suspended strictly over tint either.

Point is that it's way to easy for someone to say "get a doctor's note". That's bs. When has it worked?.. I've never heard that it has, but I've seen TONS of people say that it will. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I didn't argue that point...no need to roll eyes when you are not on point in your discussion. It's dumb to get a doctors note for this but people will always try to.

I wasn't rolling eyes at you, man. Rolling eyes at how often I see that said. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
