tint over tint??

can u put darker tint on windows that already have tint or do u have to remove the old shit before laying the new shit?

if its factory they may overlay it but i doubt it, they usually take all the pre existant tint off.

if u tint over another layer of aftermakret tint u risk possibly shattering the glass, or atleast thats what ive been told

Yes you can. Friend has 3 layers on his tahoe with zero problems.

no such thing... glass is colored from factory not tinted...

Um..... No.

have a local tint shop look at it.... if its been done recently and its a decent job, than sure, throw another layer on it. Most likely they wont warranty the job though, as tint is made to stick to glass, not tint.

you can notice a slight diff in the front and back windows b/c the front has 5% and the rears have 5% over 35% factory

the difference is because the windshield is right infront of the front windows, and ITS NOT TINT FROM THE FACTORY!

Yes you can. I have done it before. I actually tint my front window lol. If you tint the sides 20% and the front 35% You can't really tell. If you put a strip across the top of the front window on top it blends it even more. I've never gotten a ticket, although one time I had to remove 5% on top of 20% on the side of the road to avoid a ticket. He didn't notice the front tint LMAO.(It was at a car show) It never bubbled on me
