I live in toronto have been pulled over a dozen times never gotten a ticket for my limo tint...

really light in the front and really dark in the back looks retarded go with something that flows...

Find a doctor to write you a bogus prescription for tint. My friend was getting pulled over about once every six months for tint until he did this. I personally do not want to deal with cops for the sake of black plastic so I have no tint on my car.

It's hard as heck to see out of my windows at night unless I'm in a lit area. I usually have to roll them down.

I was thinking about this after it happened. I think that would be kind of hard to do. I couldn't imagine going to an eye doctor and saying, "oh, I just need you to say I need 20% tint".

pay the fine and roll down the windows if you see the same cop in the same place all the time? i roll down my windows when i see a cop and have never been nailed for my 5%. and in NY you cant have anything on the front windows

Exactly. I have 5% all around on my truck. They never say a word. I blow stuff up. I have a few cop friends that have responded to the calls and then stay to watch me blow up MORE stuff haha.

Its nice having cop friends.

Sucks, I have 20% that reads right around 16% as well and I have never been stopped for it yet. I better knock on wood.

Yep I threw 5% on my Regal early sept. and it wasnt on more than 4 weeks before i got tagged. Bastard sat in front of my school waiting for someone to pull over, he got me and his tint reader said i was sitting with 3% tint, any ways it was $112 ticket, i took it off and fought the ticket. Sucks i had to take it off but atleast I didnt have to pay anything!

I vote you leave it on and tell cops to **** it!

Laws here only allow 27% all around, with one exception.You can have the back and rear windows as dark as you want.But the front windows must be less than 70% or something like that.

It depends, I had 17% on my car and never got shit. A kid with 30% got pulled over, BUT he had the windshield done as well. The windshield is the killer, you could have 5% all around and it'll be dark, but as soon as the front is done, you can't see in.
