Tinsel Lead Slap. HELP!!!

I think I read somewhere that the "Extreme Lead" option on the FI subs is not a good choice for a daily driver sub. Does anybody have any knowledge of this? Should I call them and change my order?

What sub are you talking about?

They changed the tinsels around a while ago, I dont think you have the option to upgrade them.

I ordered a BL 12". The option only cost $5, but i think I read somewhere on SSA forums that they can cause lead slap.

Thanks. But I've already emailed them asking to delete that option. How much of a difference does that make?
