Tinsel Lead broken....is that the problem?

yea thanks everyone i know i didnt think they had to be plugged in to both power sources but i did it anyways...also i found out the problem...somhow the harness for all my RCAs had come loose in the back of my head unit and its working now...thank the lord...but also does it make a difference when you solder the tinsel back on instead of getting a whole new one???

hey ok well it fell off again and i guess it doesnt like staying on but do car audio shops carry tinsel leads or do i have to get them somewhere else?? heres the picture of it..its on my phone so bear with it...

It doesnt look like it ripped , just came loose from the terminal??

Solder it back on, and use flux. If your not capable then Im sure you got a neighbor or cousing or something that knows how to solder good.

That's a waste of a recone, because the coil isnt blown...
You can use a small bit of speaker wire and solder that in place of the tinsel lead, it can be fairly long so it doesnt happen again.
would that affect anything else??? isnt the tinsel lead used to stop the cone from moving too far??

EDIT - yea im not wasting a recone its just my tinsel lead people

No it would be fine. The tinsel lead is not supposed to stop the cone from over excurting, the reason you broke the lead in the first place was because you must have done just that (too much excursion...)
