That's a waste of a recone, because the coil isnt blown...you could, but if you have a recone kit for it why not use it
would that affect anything else??? isnt the tinsel lead used to stop the cone from moving too far??That's a waste of a recone, because the coil isnt blown...
You can use a small bit of speaker wire and solder that in place of the tinsel lead, it can be fairly long so it doesnt happen again.
No it would be fine. The tinsel lead is not supposed to stop the cone from over excurting, the reason you broke the lead in the first place was because you must have done just that (too much excursion...)would that affect anything else??? isnt the tinsel lead used to stop the cone from moving too far??
EDIT - yea im not wasting a recone its just my tinsel lead people
jesus doin that alot lately lol..what gauge wiring should i use???No it would be fine. The tinsel lead is not supposed to stop the cone from over excurting, the reason you broke the lead in the first place was because you must have done just that (too much excursion...)
