and you have to use the bigger thick paper clips, the small ones dont hold the heat long enough

well while i had it out i wired it down to 1 ohm or there abouts, and gd sooo much nicer.

i bought it from icpuplealot as a dual 1 (.7)but the fluke read the coils as 2.6 (1.3ish a piece) so i guess it was a dual 2 (1.4)

odd, nothing on the paperclip is flammable to the point that the heat from the current will light your ish up?

no no youre misunderstanding, i used the paper clip as my soldering iron, heat it up w/ the lighter, use it to manipulate the solder

Just found your thread, is everything working alright now?

And btw, your dmm might be a little off b/c when I first got it and put a dmm to the coils it was exactly 1 ohm on each

I would check your leads and make sure the solder joints are good and that the terminals are also good.
