Time To Upgrade. Any new sub deals out there?

Naw that would cost me like $1500 Canadian, nor do I have the power for 4 15" hdc's

I really wanna build a new box, as I want to redo my headliner in suede, put more deadning on the roof (only piece on my car that still flexes, I think a brace may have given out) etc

I think they are actually designed for sealed, I think 4 of em in a wall sealed would sound pretty good. Waiting to hear back from Mach5 though

4 MJ18s sealed would be a nice daily setup, obviously wont put up huge numbers but its still gonna be very loud and sound good too.

Ya I dont compete as Im in canuckland and there are no sanctionned events in my area, but I still wanna flex my windshield and pound chests...

Check out the IA Death Row's.I have had them for quit some time now and have beat the hell outta them.I had 2 pair on 2 hk4000d's(same as you have) and they took it no problem.Now there on 2 memphis 4k's and just starting to give.Coils are black/purple and one of them makes a clicking noise at high volume(triple joint is fuxed)but they are still playing 150's every day!

Bout to get some D2 recones from Nick here in the next few weeks

dude you won't find anything better than what you got for around 500$ . Expect a noticable loss from going to 4 15s to 2 18s.

why don't you tune your box lower. The sd2.5 can sound pretty good tuned in the 35ish

Ive done the AQ's in 35, they bite.

Its not like Im going to 2 18's and giving them 750 a piece like Im giving the SDC's, these suckers would be getting 2k+, and I would still have headroom to give them even MORE if I feel the need
