You should easily be able to wrap them yourself.
I recommend looking into Allante Vinyl, great feel, tons of colors, easy to wrap with.

Looks good.

What do you suggest to get them to stick? I have 3m super 90, but I worry about the back side. Which is why I was going to have it perfessionally done.

What vehicle is that in?
Chevy silverado, details are in my sig.

looks really good!!! oh and I think its a chevy truck??
Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Use the Super90, spray the glass side... spray the back of the vinyl. Let sit for a minute or two. And go to town, smoothing as necessary and using heat to slightly stretch if need be.

Reall easy, great skill to pick up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. Also, just buy a little extra vinyl... and you can re-wrap if you mess up the first time.

yea dude, the ones i did for gcadidas were real simialr, but i didnt use the factory kicks as a template.

do it yourself for sure, but definatly let the glue sit on both the kick and the fabric\vynl first... it sticks to itself like awesome. real easy to do man.

but the base looks really really good. it took me and GC to completly fab the ones we did for his IDQ8's and horns in 3 days.

here are a couple pictures of what i started with.

they were originally made for a set of AA poly mids so that is why they are so big.

but since i am using a set of coustic DR 5.25's they dont need to be nearly that big any more.

so onto the destruction.

they were a pain in the *** to tear apart, we had to use a combination of a sawzall, hammer and plenty of pulling to break them apart.

but i finally rescued my factory panels from the mess.

then it is time to rebuild.

unfortunately i didnt take any pics before i wrapped them but i just attached the ring to the panel with super glue and dowel rods.

then wrapped them in fleece and glued it on the back to hold it in place.

then came the glass, they got a good 2-3 layers on the whole thing.

they were plenty strong so i didnt worry about adding more.

after the glass i sanded then applied 2 layers of bondo and sanded the hell out of them.

but i dont have any pics of them finished since they are at a shop so i can get a quote on wrapping them.

i took them to 2 shops and one told me 50-70 for the pair.

and the other has them right now and will call me tomorrow with the price.

i might just wrap them myself but we'll see.

if they are cheap enough i might just let them do it.

but i will have more pics tomorrow when i get them back.

Yeah...this bastage lets me do all my sanding by hand. He gets the palm sander //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Guess, that is what I get for having funky shaped kicks.
