Time for some 6x9's.. help needed!

I am getting rid of my truck within the next year and could really use the money back out of my system. I am keeping my Alpine 9835 that I will probably die with. I will be a decent 2 channel amp to power them. So far I have considered the following.. please help! I listen to rock mostly and loud but I do like a smooth sound that isn't sharp. Trying to stay under $150.00.

Have a look at some Infinity Kappa series,Ive always enjoyed the lows they gave off along with the highs needed.Believe it or not, the cheap Lanzar are some pretty brute speakers also for the money of asking price.

I have not cared for the last Kappa series I dealt with. I will check out the Lanzar.. Anyone know how the DLS sound or the Soundstream?

I did some reading on the Infinity Kappa 693.9I and it seems to have a lot of good reviews. The lower ohm rating is a nice touch also. Are these really as good as I have been reading?

Sound great to me in my bros truck and he has a set of Kappa 6x9 in his truck in the doors with an old school Autotek MeanMachine 44,and they sound pretty clean /clear/and loud.If you put a Clean power house on them, they sound great!

Ya ,those are the same he has, and they are pretty d a m n good for the price, and loud and clear with a good amp.He had a Kicker 150.2 KX amp on them, and they sounded muddy in the mids, but when I talked him into the Autotek, they can alive it seems..What a difference an amp makes man.Dirty power verses clean.Amazing,Thought he was going to have to replace them.(speakers)

Hybrid Audio Imagine are very good but they cost $300. However, HAT just released Mirus, priced under $200. These are supposed to be a baby version of Imagine. Unfortunately, these are co-axial only.
